EASTER 2011

It's Friday, but Sunday is coming. You see Jesus walking the long, hot, and dusty road to Calvary, see it's Friday, Sunday is a coming. It's Friday, the disciples question what happened to their King, and Sunday is coming.

Leave your burdens and your cares at the cross this Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. Jesus died on the cross so that you won't have to suffer with pain and sickness. The good news is that Jesus didn't stay dead, three days later he rose again. He loves you more than you will ever know. Why don't you receive this Jesus in your heart today?

Now that Jesus has risen we can live...

Fully alive- alive forever - death cannot, will not captivate those who belong to Jesus by faith.

The empty cross proclaims that his work is done and his reign in heaven has begun.

He says to you, "New life is mine to give. Receive my peace and love today."

Jesus Lives Rejoice! The Lord is Risen indeed. Luke 24:34

He is not here; He has risen just as they said. Matthew 28:6

CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS

Christmas is the time of year that we Christians celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To some people Christmas has become commercialized because the media and television shows products on TV that they want people to buy for their children. Yes, we do go to the mall and different stores and spend a lot of money buying presents for our family, friends, and church family. We should be giving Jesus our best gift because it is His birthday.
Well, an angel (Angel Gabriel) came to Nazareth to visit a young lady (a virgin) by the name of Mary and told her that she was going to have a baby. The angel told Mary to name the baby Jesus.
How did this happen? Mind you Mary being a virgin did not have any relationship with a man but she was going to have a baby. How can this be? She was conceived of the Holy Spirit. An angel visited Joseph in a dream and told him to take Mary as his wife because she was going to give birth to baby Jesus. So, Joseph woke up from his dream and went to Mary and told her his dream.
The king at the time wanted every person to go to their village to be counted (the census). So, Joseph put pregnant Mary on a donkey and they made the long walk to Bethlehem where Joseph was from. When Joseph and Mary got to Bethlehem they knocked on doors but every door they went to said there was no room available for them and it was almost time for Mary to give birth. An inn keeper came to Joseph and said that he had a place for them to stay. The place was a stable where animals live. Joseph told the inn keeper that he would take the place. Mary then gave birth to Jesus with all the animals around and placed Jesus in a manger to fulfill scripture. Jesus was not born in a hospital but in a manger. What is a manger? According to Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manger) a manger is a trough or box of carved stone or wood construction used to hold food for animals (as in a stable).

Why don't you give this baby that was born in a manger your heart this Christmas? He would love to come in and give you the best present He can ever give you this Christmas and that is eternal life. Give Jesus your heart this Christmas!

Jesus loved this world so much that he left his throne in heaven to be born of a virgin named Mary so that He would eventually die on the cross for the sins of the world. This Christmas 2010 why don’t you give Jesus your heart? He wants to give you joy and peace. Spend some time with Jesus. Give Jesus your best present that cannot be wrapped and put underneath a tree; give Jesus your heart today!

I WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS 2011.

HARVEST CRUSADE AT ANGEL STADIUM IN ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA

Google

I was at the Harvest Crusade in Anaheim, California on August 6, 2010. The crusade was amazing. I went with some friends from my church (Temple Baptist Church, Perris, CA) and their children. We arrived at the Angel's Baseball stadium at 5:30 p.m. We got in line to enter the stadium. My friend Sheila told me not to bring a purse because if I did it would be searched. There was a shorter line for those that did not have any bags with them. There were thousands of people there to hear from God. It was just amazing to see thousands of people sing to the Lord and pouring their hearts out to Jesus. I just now checked Harvest.org and saw that 30,000 people attended the Harvest Crusade and the best news is that 2,638 people gave their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord!

I was so blessed to see some musicians up close. Three bands were at Harvest Crusade. The Katinas where there and here is some information about them from Harvest.org

KATINAS

These five brothers, Sam, James, John, Jesse, and Joe, are from the Samoan Islands and have been touring and recording together for the past 15 years. They have released several ablums and most recently recorded their first album off of their own record label, Destiny Productions, entitled Still. Following the devastation of the 2009 Samoa earthquake, the Katinas put on a benefit concert called, "Hope for Samoa."

CRYSTAL LEWIS

Crystal Lewis is one of my favorite musicians. She came to one of the youth summer camps that I was at in the summer of 1999 with Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. I love hearing Crystal Lewis sing because she sings from the heart. Crystal Lewis sang "Lord, I believe in You" and "Come Just as You Are."

DAVID CROWDER BAND

When I saw the David Crowder Band at the Harvest Crusade my first thought was that they are a bunch of Hillbillies that love the Lord. Hailing from Waco, Texas worship group, The David Crowder Band has been taking the Christian music world by storm since the release of their album A Collision in 2005. They are winners of multiple Dove Awards, including 2010 Praise and Worship Album of the Year, for their newest release, Church Music.

I encourage everyone out there to listen to the Harvest Crusade live on Harvest.org and invite an unsaved friend to watch with them. God Bless you all.

HONESTY

PROVERBS 12:17-22 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a fales witness, deceit.

18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.

21 No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil.

22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal truthfully are his delight.

This comes right out of God's word the Bible so watch what you say to other people and watch how you interact with people. People are watching you.

Help me, dear Lord, to be honest and true

In all that I say and all that I do;

Give me the courage to do what is right,

To bring to the world a glimpse of Your light. -Fasick

People who trust God's Word should be people whose word can be trusted.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR!!

Winter has left us and spring time is finally here! This is when all of the things that God created (like trees, plants, and animals) come out and make the world beautiful. I love to hear the birds singing their song and see the sun shinning bright in the morning.

Earth Day is almost here. There are three days till earth day. Let's help clean up pollution in our earth by watching the words that come out of our mouth. If you are a follower of Christ you will want to watch what is coming out of your mouth. There are people out there that are watching us all the time and are looking for us to fail so that they can catch us and say "I thought you were a Christian now look at what you are saying."

Christians, remember you bear his name,
Your lives are for others to view;
You are living examples-men praise you or blame,
And measure your Savior by you. -Anon.

A good example for Jesus Christ preaches a powerful sermon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

The dreams that you dreamed as a little child; may they come true for you. May anything that you set your hand to touch prosper in 2009 in Jesus' Name Amen!

The New Year is here! Pooh and I would like to ask you what will you do with your life this year? Will you make the most of every minute, every moment, and every hour of each day? Will you do something to help make the world a better and safer place for everyone? If your answer is yes to any of these questions let us come together and brainstorm on ways that we can get out there and help our planet. Ways to help our planet is by recycling or turning off the lights when you leave the room, or by making a list and buying only the things that you need at the store.

Please come daily and post on this blog. I will try my best to make sure that this blog is updated.
